In a blink of an eye..

Amazing how quickly time passes. I seem to have fallen off the regular blogging of late, and I dont' have a good excuse as to why. Here's a quick recap of July: I returned home to gorgeous weather, and spent the 4th of July with friends, bbq'ing, hanging out, and enjoying this stellar view from their roof. As good as it is to get away, it's always wonderful to return home.

Celebrated Bastille Day at the Corson Building. The French National Day had more of a Southern France flair to it, and I was just supremely happy to be there- in that space, admiring my crush, eating delicious food and consuming Rose. The event was very kid friendly, with lots of craft stations and chicken races (which was unbelievably entertaining- no chickens were hurt!). For the adults, there was great food and drink, music, henna tattoos, a hooka lounge and a wish emporium.. I made my wish, and hoping the universe will respond..

End of July brought a trip to the gorge to see Soundgarden, for their first tour in over 10 years. I love this venue- with the mighty Columbia river in the background, showcasing the orange and pink canyons. The show was amazing and I got to see one of my favorite people, whom I miss dearly. It was a good day- and the show? It rocked!!
