Hard to believe that a month has gone by already.. where does the time go? It's been a fairly uneventful around here. Valentine's weekend I helped to celebrate the wedding of two incredible people, Dan & Claire. Their winter weekend wedding celebration was set amongst the tall trees and snow in Leavenworth, at the
Sleeping Lady Lodge. It was a wonderful weekend.

Days later, I greeted another year and 36. 36?! I am of the opinion that no one should work on their birthday, so I didnt. I had a lazy morning, took myself to lunch at
Nettletown (and enjoyed a huckleberry mimosa) before heading to the
spa for some pampering. Once scrubbed and refreshed, it was time for
dinner and drinks with friends. A bottle of bubbly, wine and delicious food surrounded by some of my favorite people. It was a good day indeed.

The remaining last few weeks have just flown by and been relatively quiet. There have been some
good food out with friends, a movie or two, and even a play. Oh, and an amazing night of music seeing David Gray. There was some swooning going on in those stands, let me tell you! I was overcome by the urge to do some serious spring cleaning- completely reorganizing my kitchen, my pantry closet and wardrobe closet. When I moved, I just threw my belongings in boxes and while it all got unpacked, it wasn't organized the best. So I spent a couple of very therapuetic days taking control of my life and my space. It felt good, really good. So much so that I've been pretty content just hanging out in my space, party of one.
Happy Spring, all.
