Besides being utterly wonderful to just be and spend time with them, I got a great tour of the city. Completely charming with a small town feel; it was so much more lush and green that I imagined it to be- which I loved. We had some fabulous meals, but I have to say the dinner at Table was one for the books. A sweet little spot offering 'seasonal new american' and focusing on local farms- totally up my alley. Instead of just ordering off the menu, my brillant foodie friends called ahead to inquire whether the chef would just 'feed us'. We arrived and agreed on 5 savory
courses, and left the rest up to whatever the chef felt inspired to make. And let me just say- it was all amazing. We were a very happy and well fed table. I think the course of crudo tuna belly, with jalapeno sorbet and pistachios? Wow.. no other words really.
Such a delicious treat to be with them both, and I can't wait for my next visit!
