This pantry is at The Corson Building (it's only a partial shot). Th building was once an old family home, the father a stone mason. The light filters through the myriad of jars holding spices or house preserved vegetables- the brunch cocktails this weekend included sparkling wine with housemade brandied cherries. Softly worn cookbooks line the shelves. And from my table at brunch today, I can see the charcuterie curing in the refrigerator in the beautiful open kitchen. His food makes me happy, and inspires me to be a better cook. And he's pretty cute to boot!
